The hotel perfectly suited my needs. It was well appointed but small and convenient. My room was in a self-contained block very near my car but also right next to the dining entrance. I was able to have breakfast and dinner there, which fitted in with my work. Best of all, the staff were fantastic; nothing was too much trouble. Oh, and the food was very good, much better than pub grub. Great selection of healthy nuts, seeds, fruit and yoghurt for breakfast, plus plenty of cooked options. Dinner was proper chef-cooked. Good packed lunches too. If I'm in the area again, I will definitely choose this place.

Friendly staff who made me feel welcome in the bar area. I ate there in the evening and the food was fantastic. Probably the best rump steak I've ever eaten accompanied by homemade onion rings and homemade chips. Breakfast was also lovely, lots to choose from. Would highly recommend and would definitely visit again if I was in the area. Thanks for having me stay 😊.

We had dinner on arrival and then breakfast as part of the B&B in the morning and both were superb. The rooms were generous in size, very clean, and perfectly equipped. All of the staff were welcoming, friendly and provided excellent customer service. We couldn't fault a single thing!

Comfortable room, but it needed a second leisure /armchair so that both parties could sit and relax rather than being perched on a bed. Would have appreciated having a spare blanket available, but a very flexible heating system in the room compensated. Lovely friendly staff. Property is nicely tucked away off major A roads but with easy access to those trunk roads. Very good food.
